Training Sticks and Strings carrot sticks savvy stringsOur training stick is used as an extension of your arm for direction, desensitizing and approval, usually with the addition of a training string, sometimes known as a “savvy string.” Our training stick is built around a sturdy white fibreglass rod with a soft handle and leather tip. The leather tip is fastened to the training stick and then securely whipped in place. Our standard size stick is four feet long. Shorter sticks can be made on request at no extra charge.Our training strings are carefully spliced so they will NOT BIND on the leather tip of the training stick. The training string comes in solid black, teal, red or white/gold. Made from sturdy marine braid with an eye-splice at one end and back-spliced and tipped with a leather popper on the opposite end, it has a thousand and one uses. The regular length of our strings is six feet long and shorter strings can be made on request. NEW! Check out our new positive identification for training sticks.
